Why on earth would a pediatrician with 3 young children start a food blog in 2008? Well, it’s pretty simple:
1.) I’d lose my head if it weren’t firmly attached (stop laughing, hubby!) and blogging keeps my recipes in order. If I could just blog about my car keys and cell phone, maybe I’d keep those in order too…
2.) I wanted to help other families navigating the daunting world of cooking for allergic kids.
I’ve made enough kitchen fails for all of us, so hopefully I can spare you the brownie sludge, unscoopable ice cream, and muffins better suited for skipping stones that I’ve already perfected in my quest for something excellent. I never anticipated the exponential improvement in my skills in cooking, photography and computer programming, so that’s an added bonus.
