    Strawberry Napoleons

    Jump to Recipe·Print Recipe
Heart shaped strawberry napoleon dessert with chocolate sauce, strawberries, and whipped cream on a plate.

Rule #1 with kid desserts: layer anything and they’ll think you’re the most amazing chef ever.  Faced with a dessert crisis and a bare pantry, you can layer anything (canned fruit and cereal) and kids will love it.  Drizzle it with chocolate and a dusting of powdered sugar and they’re awestruck. Kids are the best.

There’s not much of a recipe to these strawberry napoleons. What you see is what you get.  The pastry layers are Pepperidge Farm puff pastry, the whipped cream is Rich’s Whip, the strawberry inspiration came from Driscoll’s.

The kids were blown away, and I’m shaking my head because it’s one of the easiest things I’ve made in a while. Win!

    Happy Valentines Day!

    Description

This easy strawberry napoleon dessert comes together quickly with frozen puff-pastry.

    Ingredients

    Scale
    • 1 Package Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry
    • Dairy-free whipped cream (I used Rich’s Whip)
    • Sliced Strawberries
    • Melted chocolate chips and powdered sugar

    Instructions

    1. Allow the frozen puff pastry sheets to thaw, then cut into heart shapes, sprinkle with granulated sugar and bake at 400 until golden brown.
    2. Once the pastry has cooled, cut until 3 layers.
    3. Then start building with layers of whipped cream, strawberries and chocolate drizzle.
